FCC Enviro's key pillars in environmental matters are:

Climate change With a clear, measurable and quantifiable decarbonisation strategy aligned with the appropriate level of ambition to motivate a reduction in the impact generated by the provision of services, the company works every day to become a leader in the fight against climate change.
Pollution The company is clearly committed to reducing and preventing sources of pollution arising from our operations. Reducing pollution is one of the priority goals that contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable society by reducing negative environmental impacts. The potential impacts produced by FCC Enviro's activity mainly generate physical risks that can materialise into economic, reputational and operational risks that can have negative consequences for the company and the environment. FCC Enviro operates under the principles of the FCC Group Sustainability Policy. The first strategic pillar of this policy is ‘Environmental conservation and protection’, whose main objective is to ensure that operations are particularly respectful of the environment due to our role as an environmental services company.
Marine & water resources We are aware that sustainable water management is essential to address the challenges of water scarcity and declining water quality. A comprehensive approach is required, including efficient conservation of water resources, the adoption of clean technologies, the implementation of more sustainable agricultural and industrial practices, and awareness and education on responsible water use. Supported by the search for effective solutions to water scarcity and quality as a fundamental tool for preserving our environment and ensuring equitable and safe access to this vital resource for current and future generations.
Biodiversity & ecosystems Biodiversity, whose balance and preservation is essential to ensure the health of our planet, is currently facing critical challenges. FCC Enviro is aware of the need to address the challenge of the loss of biodiversity and natural capital. In the year 2023, FCC Medio Ambiente Iberia has renewed its adherence to the Biodiversity Pact of the Spanish Business and Biodiversity Initiative (IEEB), while progress has been made in aligning the biodiversity strategy with the "Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures" methodology”.
Resource use and circular economy The circular economy proposes closing product life cycles by using practices such as reusing, recycling and renewing materials. This change of model seeks not only to minimize environmental impact, but also to maximize efficiency in the use of resources. FCC Enviro has a relevant position in this transition and recognizes the importance of managing its resources efficiently to ensure a sustainable future. In line with this commitment, it implements circular practices that underscore its dedication to building a solid foundation for long-term success.
