FCCenviro has unveiled its Decarbonisation Roadmap, a strategic plan that sets the course towards a more sustainable and resilient future. The document establishes a long-term vision to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, embed climate action into business decision-making and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon business model aligned with leading international climate frameworks and commitments. 

The roadmap is the result of an extensive technical, financial and strategic assessment that identified the main emissions reduction opportunities across all regions where FCCenviro operates. Based on this analysis, the company has defined a range of decarbonisation levers, including reducing dependence on landfill disposal, increasing landfill gas capture, expanding renewable energy consumption and electrifying its fleet, complemented by innovative solutions such as carbon capture and storage in Energy-from-Waste facilities. 

The decarbonisation plan includes more than €800 million in additional investment to drive this transformation and ensure a financially robust climate transition. The roadmap is fully integrated into FCCenviro’s Sustainability Strategy 2026-2030 and is supported by the company’s governing bodies, ensuring that climate objectives are embedded in operational planning, capital allocation and business performance management. 

Through this initiative, FCCenviro reaffirms its commitment to leading the decarbonisation of the environmental services sector, contributing both to the reduction of its own emissions and to those of its customers and communities. The roadmap turns climate ambition into concrete and measurable action, laying the foundations for sustainable and competitive growth aligned with future climate challenges.
