FCC enviro at Smart City Expo World Congress 2025: Crafting a Sustainable Future for Cities
Smart City Expo World Congress, which every year turns Barcelona into the global capital of urban innovation, has focused this year on analysing how artificial intelligence is influencing smart cities to make them more sustainable and inclusive.
The congress, which also featured the active participation of FCC enviro in this 14th edition, is a key forum for public and private actors to discuss, connect and share strategies and visions for the future.
On this occasion under the slogan ‘Crafting a Sustainable Future for Cities’, the company has highlighted its innovation and sustainability projects, always focusing on its people.
Particularly, FCC enviro wanted to highlight its innovative solutions for the recycling of components from renewable energy facilities, as well as presenting its Waste-to-Energy projects, a strategic business activity that aroused great interest among attendees. As the main focus of its theme, it sought to showcase its new health and safety plan focused on the well-being of its people. FCC enviro's significant presence at the congress has enabled it to contribute its experience in providing sustainable services with a high level of technology at numerous events.
Its stand attracted many attendees, as well as visits from important authorities and delegations from organisations and countries around the world, who were particularly interested in its R&D&I projects, experience in the sector and programmes under development.
